Probate Litigation

If a loved one has died and you believe that someone unduly influenced the decedent, or if your loved one had a guardian or conservator and you believe that he or she did not properly handle the assets or if there are irregularities by a trustee, litigation may be necessary.  At Tanowitz Law Office, we have handled a variety of probate litigation matters, including:

  • Representing sisters against another sibling where the defendant had misused their mother’s assets while acting in a fiduciary capacity
  • Representing a son against a non-relative guardian of the estate for irregularities in court filings and use of funds
  • Negotiated a settlement between two siblings where the parent’s will did not reflect the parent’s wishes
