· Prepared and second seated eight day trial, including preparation of
findings of fact and rulings of law, witness testimony, exhibits,
motions in limine and the like; verdict of nearly $1 million in favor of
client
· Drafted Second Circuit Court of Appeals appellate brief for the
plaintiff after the case was dismissed; Second Circuit changed the
standard by which it determines whether a copyright claim arises under
the Copyright Act for purposes of 28 U.S.C. § 1338
· Limited damages in a two day bench trial to actual damages, in
comparison to earlier non-binding arbitration which award ten times the
verdict when local counsel appeared
· Obtained dismissal of lawsuit on behalf of a property owner who had been sued by a subcontractor, but failed to perfect a mechanic's lien
· Successfully avoided entry of reach and apply attachment on assets of entity where defendant was a member and owned an interest
· Obtained dismissal of numerous cases on motion to dismiss and/or on
summary judgment motions, including a decision from the bench in the
United States District Court for the District of New Jersey; Plaintiffs’
counsel in several cases voluntarily dismissed their complaints upon
receipt of my motion to dismiss or for summary judgment
· Successfully argued for dismissal of case based on lack of personal
jurisdiction and transferred others from one federal jurisdiction to another
· Drafted brief which successfully enforced covenant not to compete
against collegiate sports coach
· Successfully opposed motion to compel for client invoices and other

· Assisted clients with drafting home improvement contracts prior to commencement of work
